We’ve been sipping on Anderson’s wines ever since they first opened their cellar door in ‘93. We drink Andersons to mark our personal celebrations. This year our friends from Andersons Winery travelled to Georgia, a small country at the intersection of Europe & Asia to receive a prestigious medal for their Saperavi, a medium bodied red with earthy beetroot notes & cherry fruit characteristics.

Georgia is the birthplace of the Saperavi and is well known for their ancient vineyards. As well as the Saperavi, Georgia is known for their ‘Georgian salad’, a simple & fresh get-together of cucumber and tomato served with every meal.

Inspired by this delightful flavour combination we have collaborated with our Rutherglen friends from Andersons Winery to bring you this oh-so-delicious gift box featuring:

This Lemon Pepper Relish is a taste of its own. It takes us far beyond the bitter sweet of a marmalade to a world of flavours that challenge and tantalise the palate at the same time - sweet, bitter, sour, umami, salty – all 5 basic tastes. Add black peppercorns hand-ground in mortar and pestle and you have a match made in heaven.

Think preserved lemon but more complex and balanced. Add a table spoon to your bolognese sauce or rub it into your roast lamb. The best marinade for your fish.

When there was over-supply in the garden women mobilized to produce fabulous preserves of all kinds. Zucchini grows so well in our part of Sydney, so, like our female lineage we preserve the abundance of beautiful produce available to us with this delightful Spicy Zucchini Relish.

Expect the nutty, slightly sweet taste of a zucchini enhanced with a good pinch of chilli.
