Date, Tomato & Ginger Relish is a rich, jammy relish made with sweet dried dates, ripe tomatoes, fresh ginger and a delicate hint of chilli. Slowly cooked for an almost caramelised depth, it balances sweetness with savoury flavour and gentle warmth.

Made for anyone looking for something beyond a traditional tomato relish, it is exceptionally versatile. Spoon it beside curry, dhal, samosas or savoury rice. Pair it with sharp cheddar or creamy blue on a cheese board. Spread it generously through a sandwich or ham and cheese toastie, or serve it alongside pies, cold meats and roast pork.

Handcrafted in small batches in the Hawkesbury region of NSW. Naturally gluten free and vegan.

This recipe has lived within our family for a long time, but until now, we've never shared it beyond our own table.

Date, Tomato & Ginger Relish comes in two jar sizes. The 115g Petite holds around 11 serves, perfect for hampers, gifts and grazing tables. The 330g Grande is our full pantry size with around 33 serves (a serve is 10g, about two teaspoons).

Unopened, it keeps for 2 years from the date of manufacture, and the best before date is printed on every jar. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate below 4°C and enjoy within 30 days.
